 Shiva, the Hindu
God is the destroyer and regenerator. He is honored throughout all of
India and has been for many millenniums. Sacred statues can bring a sense of
holiness to our lives. There are many sacred figures honored all over the
world. |

Kuan Yin in Lotus. One of my favorite pieces,
this Kuan Yin is beautiful. Made with resin and stone from Vietnam. 2 1/2" tall. $8

Turtle/Man. This is an ancient symbol in
Vietnam. It is the same piece in the picture, just different sides, turtle
one side, man the other. Turtle and man are the same. 3" tall. $6

Ganasha. This most unusual Ganasha was found in
Central Vietnam and we had it cast in resin for us in Hanoi. There was a
time 1,000 years ago when Hinduism was popular in Vietnam and that period is
represented in this unique styling. 2" tall. $8 |

Dragon and Egg. The dragon is a an active part
of Vietnam traditions. The egg is the world and the statue represents that
all the Vietnamese are children of the dragon. This teaching is not just for
the Vietnamese for really...aren't we all one. Made from resin and stone. 3

TDPH Buddha. Another of the different form of
Buddha that we found early on in Vietnam and it is still quite popular. Made

3 Buddhas. There
are many stories behind the meaning of the 3 Buddhas.
One story
has the figures as representing prosperity, long life and happiness. We know
that 3, the triad, is a naturally powerful element in all of nature. The

stone in Vietnam. Kuan Yin is the Chinese Goddess of mercy, whose name
translates as The One who hears the Cries of the World. Hand carved and

Wooden Buddha.
Hand carved from local wood in Bali, this Buddha is very contemplative. 7"

Carved Laughing Buddha. Also know as Lucky Buddha, these are from
